IMPORTANT: Accessing your WITC online accounts as noted below requires that WITC has your Social Security number correctly entered into our system. If you did not provide your SS# with your application or enrollment, you will need to present documentation to the Student Services department of the WITC campus you attend.
Accessing WITC Technology
Step 1. After you are admitted to the college, you can access the MyWITC Portal.
Primary access is on witc.edu and click on the MyWITC link and click on the Sign on Assistance icon and follow the instructions to create your password. MyWITC is used to access self-service functions such as enrollment, checking your schedule, grades, payments, financial aid, etc.
Please note that this password is temporary and will be replaced by your MyCampus password when registration opens in Step 2.

Step 2. After registration is open for your first semester courses, you can access the MyCampus Portal. Registration Dates
Primary access is on witc.edu and click on the MyCampus link and then click on First-time User. Here is a link to the steps to create a MyCampus password and account recovery questions. First-Time Login: MyCampus. It is important to follow these instructions to log into the MyCampus Portal successfully.
The MyCampus portal will provide you one-stop sign-on to all your important WITC applications to include:
- MyWITC (How do I register for classes?)
- WITC computers
- and more.
Please note that after creating a MyCampus password, it will replace the MyWITC password you created in Step 1.

The Learning Resource Center is located in the Learning Commons and are here to help you with all of your information resources needs during your educational career.

Educational Technology Center support:
The Education Technology Center is located in the Learning Commons.
College is all about technology and the Educational Technology Center staff are here to provide on-the-ground support. Students have access to a computer lab that has all the software necessary to be a successful student at WITC. Students also have access to printers (both color and black and white), copiers, and scanners.
Your technology experts are here to assist you with all the WITC online applications, online resources for your classes, your computers or personal devices, software installs and much more.

Your WITC Email Account

The format of student email addresses is your last name, first initial of your first name and first initial of your middle name. For example, if your name were John Andrew Doe, your email address would be firstname.lastname@example.org.
Email is the official form of communications with students at WITC. Please check your WITC email regularly. Your WITC student email account is hosted through the Microsoft Office365 service. It also includes Cloud services for email, Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive.

Online Course Management (Blackboard)
Blackboard Learning Management System:

This is the WITC online course management system.
You can now access your WITC Blackboard classes from your mobile devices. The Blackboard app is Blackboard’s mobile app for students. With this free app, you can work in your classes, take exams, view your grades and participate in Blackboard Collaborate sessions from your phone.
To install the BB app on your device, search for Blackboard in Google Play for Android devices, Windows Store for Windows phones and The App Store for Apple devices.
Once you have the Blackboard app installed on your device, search for Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. Then log in using the same username and password that you normally use to log into Blackboard from a computer.

An Orientation to Blackboard can be accessed by following these steps:
- Go to the MyCampus Portal and click on the Blackboard icon.
- If you are unable to log in, please contact the WITC Help Desk for assistance.
- Once logged in, click on "Courses" located in the upper right.
- In the "Course Search" box, type "Student Orientation to Blackboard" and click "GO".
- Click on the Course ID and a drop down arrow will appear, click on that and the "Enroll" window will appear. Click "Enroll".
- Click on "Submit" and you will be enrolled in the course!
Blue Jeans Web Conferencing (ITV/MyChoice)
BlueJeans is a web conferencing platform that you can use to attend class virtually, if you choose that option. By clicking on the link for your class found in Blackboard, you will be able to see and hear your instructor and view any content they are sharing right on your computer!

Emergency Alert Information

Hoonuit (Atomic Learning) is a web-based learning service. It is available 24/7 and is a collection of training videos for 250 of the most common software applications. It is a great way to brush up on the use of current software. Pick and choose the tutorials that will help you get ready for your program.
